Au Pair Anywhere has been operational since November 2003. Our success is due to the fact that we pride ourselves in providing our clients with top quality, experienced and educated Au Pairs who are extensively screened and reference checked before they are registered on our database.

Au Pair Anywhere: This program offers a unique opportunity for families and Au pairs to experience the enrichment that comes from first-hand exposure to another culture. It is our hope that such an experience will promote and foster a better understanding of the values of family life.

Many families have found the Au pair Program to be a rewarding and enjoyable experience, but it is important that you fully understand the program before deciding if you and your family will benefit. Please keep in mind that while you are an employer of the young person who will care for your children, you are also a host. The au pair is a guest in your home, perhaps for the first time. How you interact with the au pair will create powerful and lasting images about your family.

The ultimate responsibility for the well being of your children continues to rest with you, and you must be prepared to work with the au pair to establish the best care for your children. Au pairs may not provide more than 12 hours of child care per day, or exceed 50hrs per week. All au pairs receive one and a-half days off each week, a complete weekend off each month this is negotiable with both parties. Au pairs may perform general housekeeping chores related to the care of your children. Au pairs are required to maintain a good standard with the children.

The Au pair should remember that he/she is an employee and a guest in your host family's home. Please respect your host family's home and property, and comply with their house rules. I had ups and downs not all was perfect, but I made the best of it; it was really an experience of a life time. When I decided to become an Au pair I searched for agencies online and found Au Pair anywhere. They helped me through the whole process and we found a Host family that suited me. I then went to New Jersey and started my year I was so excited the first day I was a little home sick, but I kept myself busy met a lot of friends through my LAR and Go Au pair.

I went to so many different places with my host family: I went to Disney world (it was awesome), I went to Vermont and Canada (no words can express Canada for me just breath taking), South Carolina (beach vacation). And I got to go places on my own I went to California on vacation it was lovely. At first I thought okay what do I do am I going to make friends? Will I like it here? And yes it's a little awkward for maybe day 1 and 2, but the Host Family will do everything to make you comfortable. I learnt that open communication works well. The AU Pair Anywhere team still checked up on me even though I was all the way in the U.S.A and gave me advice on how to deal with missing my family and friends back home. I have made so many friends here and friends from all over the world. . The opportunity to go to college was also great to see how the American school system works. I had so much fun that I extended with my host family for 9 more months and had a blast. I looked after 3 gorgeous children and will not forget them.

I lived approximately an hour and a half by train from New York City and every weekend I was not working or busy I would go into the city.
